Organic Rosehip Seed Oil and Palmarosa Essential Oil

 1 oz

Ingredients: organic Rosehip Seed Oil and organic Palmarosa essential oil and infused with Calendula.

This two-ingredient oil is a 'dry' oil that absorbs easily. It is ideal for both morning application (before makeup) and in the evening (before bed).

Rosehip oil is a dry oil that penetrates to the deepest layers of the skin where it regenerates cells, increasing collagen production, hydrates and plumps skin, helps to even skin tone and fade brown spots, supports scar healing (including stretch marks), and soothes eczema and psoriasis. It contains trans-retinoic acid, which is a derivative of vitamin A, which stimulates collagen production and studies have shown to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and brighten the skin.. It is rich in Vitamin C and the essential fatty acids, all of which are known to help heal scar tissue.

Rosehip oil is so gentle it is considered appropriate for all skin types even acne prone and very sensitive skin. It is often used to support healing for sun-damaged skin.

Rosehip oil is incredibly rich in essential fatty acids. Over 70% of the oil is comprised of two - linoleic oil and linolenic acid which improve hydration and skin elasticity. It also contains a significant amount of vitamin C which is essential in collagen synthesis. Again, these vitamins and nutrients work synergistically to:

* Support scar healing (including stretch marks)

*Promote the production of collagen

*Help skin maintain moisture and plumpness

*Even skin tone, particularly brown spots

*Soothe eczema and psoriasis

Palmarosa shines when it comes to skin health. Because of this, it often finds a place in our skincare routines for both our faces and bodies. It regulates skin moisture and oil production and is therefore useful for both dry and oily skin. Offering cell renewal benefits, palmarosa essential oil nourishes and restores skin health and harmony. Palmarosa hydrates dry skin and minimizes age lines.

Palmarosa oil is used to treat skin problems like eczema and psoriasis, as well as boils, abscesses and acne, as well.

Palmarosa oil is well-known for its hydrating properties and can assist in preventing inflammation and quelling dehydration. It also balances the sebum or oil production of your skin, aids in the healing of cuts and bruises, and helps remedy acne breakouts.

Palmarosa oil's health benefits are also often attributed to its antiseptic and antimicrobial properties. In one study that tested the antibacterial activity of four types of essential oils, researchers found that palmarosa essential oil was the most effective against gram-negative Escherichia coli and gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus species of bacteria.
