Rose Otto is an exquisite essential oil that has been revered for centuries. It takes 4,000 kg of rose petals to make 1 kg of Organic Rose Otto. Rose Otto is hydro-distilled from the petals of the rose flower, creating a clear, thin liquid that can solidify at a temperature of 68 degrees F. If solid, put in a bag and insert into warm water. Oil will quickly return to a liquid state. This occurs with Rose Otto because of the distillation process and is completely normal. This Organic Rose Otto comes diluted at 10% (with 100% USDA Certified Organic Sunflower Seed Carrier Oil) because of the strength of this oil.
